The wine hills between Novara and Gattinara are the perfect place to sample some of the most appreciated DOC and DOCG wines of Alto Piemonte, while the rolling character of their land invites you to walk or, even better, bike while discovering hidden glimpses and places.

Leaving the hills, it is the Bassa Valsesia that welcomes a slow tourism that in winter can find an alternative to the higher slopes, with proposals for excursions, MTB trails, and climbing sites accessible all year round.

Upon arrival in Valsesia, the Val Grande along with its two side valleys, Sermenza and Mastallone, invites to practice a wide range of outdoor sports both in summer and winter.

It's up to the bravest to reach the (first) 4000 and enjoy unique views while crossing the Monte Rosa glacier; however, even from the valley floor, every activity will be surrounded by a particularly beautiful mountain environment. 

In all the Valsesian valleys, in fact, a typical pre-Alpine atmosphere is breathed and jealously preserved, with the establishment of natural parks and protected areas, thanks to the integrity of a green landscape with harmoniously placed towns and villages.

The culture is the common thread that unites this territory already rich in interesting discoveries: it can be said that in all localities every group of houses, hamlet, church, or little chapel holds works of genius, artistic and artisanal skill, the work of entire cohorts of Valsesians who have honored and enriched their native land and, with the widespread emigration of the past, have taken their skills beyond national borders to share them with the world.

The gastronomy, finally, makes the discovery of the territory and its traditions even more interesting.
