The starting point of the itinerary is the Sanctuary of the S.S. Crucifix, better known as the Sanctuary of Boca, a destination still for pilgrimages and one of the boldest works by Antonelli. A noteworthy curiosity is the healing boulder, an enormous stone of reddish color, traditionally believed to bring health and fertility; around it, the nucleus of the current Sanctuary was built over time. Covered in the 1920s by a chapel, the worship of the boulder is still felt today, so much so that many people lean against the wall that actually rises above the boulder as a propitiatory rite.
From the Sanctuary of Boca, you follow the cycle path for a short stretch before continuing northwest along the path that leads to Casa Finazzi. Here you meet the Traversagna, a road that offers wide views of the wine hills, and you walk for about 10 minutes until you find, on the right, the start of trail 777 leading into the woods.
Here you ascend to the Motto della Capretta first and to the Cross of Teso (743 m) later.
Once at Teso, you descend taking trail 778. After about 20 minutes, you can make a small detour to include a stop at La Pelosa (trail A114), a panoramic peak from which a 360° view opens up. From here, you quickly reconnect with trail 778, which you follow until the intersection with trail 793, which you take on the right to return to the starting point.
