Luoghi, attività e idee per vivere la Valsesia.
The Riviera of Valsesia
After the houses of Cerva, at the bottom of the hamlet, the beautiful road leading to Rossa begins, the village built on the ridge of the mountain, in an enviable position, so much so that its location is indicated with the term riviera.
A gem of Valsesia, thanks also to its many small hamlets, all inhabited and lively, which boasts longer seasons and the mildest climate in the entire valley.
You can immediately notice the Church of the Assumption, with a beautiful fresco by Avondo on the facade of the imposing building, architecturally inspired by the Sacred Mountain of Varallo. Don't forget also the nearby little church of San Rocco. A beautiful view can be admired from the square in front of the church, as well as from various corners of the well-distributed cluster of houses, all ancient and in excellent condition. The town hall, the ancient laundry, the narrow paved streets all converge in the small, enchanting Rossa, in a transalpine order of quality.
Many and curious are the hamlets of the village: Casa dei Bianchi, Salerio, Folecchio, Piane, Rainerio, Piana and, further down, Fontane.
