Rafting

A fun and exciting group sport

Seeing Valsesia from the watercourse that shapes it is a natural and surprising viewpoint.

A few hours of rafting is a unique experience that allows you to discover one of the most beautiful rivers in Italy.

A unique experience that allows you to discover one of the most beautiful rivers in Italy.

Rafting is a fun and exciting group sport that involves descending the river on special inflatable boats that can carry crews of 6-7 people plus the instructor.

The rafting companies in Valsesia organize rafting experiences for everyone: you just need to know how to swim and you can immediately experience the thrill of a river descent.

The necessary equipment is provided, and before boarding, the guide gives a dry and calm-water lesson on technique and safety measures.

Some schools also offer the opportunity to practice rafting for two (inflatable canoe), a fun and exciting sport that involves descending the river with a crew of two people.

It is the ideal sport to experience the thrill of being able to independently navigate your craft along the river's rapids.

Descents take place along the most scenic stretches of the Sesia, generally between the towns of Piode and Varallo, ensuring thrills and adventure, but also maximum safety.

The ideal season for rafting activity is from April to September.

The supplied technical clothing (wetsuit, waterproof jacket, etc.) ensures proper thermal protection in any weather condition. Rafting companies are equipped with cutting-edge boats and gear that can comfortably accommodate both individuals and large groups.
