The village of nativity scenes
In its green environmental crown dominated by the impressive Monte Barone and bounded by the flowing waters of the Sessera and Strona torrents, the village lists many diverse areas of interest to discover step by step.
Postua already has a happy visual impact as you travel the road that crosses the bridge over the Sessera; the immediate contact with the Postua hamlet stimulates curiosity with places of ancient origin and important palaces and villas all dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.

Of the 500 is also the Parish Church of the Assumption, mother of many others in the village and its fractions, Chiesa, Riva, Barinciano, Roncole, Fucine, Naulina.
In its round, the happy discovery of interesting points such as the Madonna di Loreto, San Sebastiano, Santa Marta and Bernardino, the Santuary of the Assumption, the oratory of San Grato and the ancient one of Santa Lucia.
The gentle and graceful care of the inhabited area has allowed over the centuries to maintain a distinct, aristocratic and surely inviting overall profile. During the Christmas season, the village comes alive with its nativity scenes: the traditional event sees the families of the village setting up the scenes of nativity (often more than one per family).
Born in 1984 by Giampietro Baldracchi, the event has grown both in the number of visitors and participating nativity scenes.
