Hello, I am Monica, a true Varallese deeply in love with her Valsesia.
I have been a Tourist Guide and Hiking Guide since 2009, working as a freelancer with a VAT number.
I was born and raised in Valsesia and have always thought that I would continue to live and work in my valley. My work represents, almost entirely, my life and to those who travel with me I try to convey secrets, emotions, and stories that are part of the 'DNA' of the place where I live: from the Sacred Mountain of Varallo to the Walser villages of Alagna, from the hills of Gattinara DOCG to the picturesque side valleys (Val Sermenza, Val Mastallone) every town in Valsesia is for me a special place where I will show you beauty and authenticity.
Over the years I have done countless things: I organize guided tours for important events; I have managed an Ecomuseum, two information offices, and currently a museum; I created a company for historical reenactments for tourism purposes; I handled fundraising projects for charitable purposes; but above all, I am a co-author of the portal https://www.invalsesia.it and the guide 'Valsesia – guide to the greenest valley in Italy'.
I look forward to helping you get to know this extraordinary territory better!
