Among all river sports disciplines, whitewater kayaking is probably the most technical and complex discipline, but also the one that can provide unforgettable sensations.
The Sesia River, apart from some stretches and depending on the seasonal period, is navigable along the entire stretch from Alagna to Varallo from April to September. In April and May, all of its main tributaries are also navigable: Sorba, along with its tributary Gronda, Sermenza along with its tributary Egua, Mastallone.
Valsesia is considered one of the best areas internationally for practicing whitewater kayaking.
The Sesia is one of the best rivers to learn this discipline, and the whitewater centers are available for anyone wanting to start a learning journey.
