Ice climbing belongs to the world of climbing but, unlike "classic" climbing, it takes place on ice waterfalls using crampons, ice axes, and other tools specifically designed for this discipline.
It is an ephemeral activity, practicable some years only within a small time window during the coldest months, but capable of providing pure adrenaline shocks to the most daring climbers.
