Discovering the most beautiful artistic paths of Valsesia
With the aim not only to preserve, but also to raise awareness of the wonderful artistic heritage present in the mountains of Valsesia, a group of mountaineer members of the CAI section of Borgosesia, (the Ancient Mountain Commission, mountain to save) has over time identified some wonderful routes called “Paths of Art in the mountains of Valsesia”.

The idea behind the project is to offer hikers support information to discover those gems scattered in the small towns and alpine pasturelands, along the mule tracks or paths that lead to easily accessible places, but often still unknown and in need of proper promotion.
To date, 11 routes have been identified: Cervatto - Madonna del Balmone; Rimella - San Giorgio in Val Mastallone; Rossa - Alpe Sull’Oro; Boccioleto - Alpe Seccio; Piaggiogna - Madonna del Sasso; Cerva – Piane di Folecchio - Alpe Lavaggi in Val Sermenza; Piani Alti di Scopa; Mollia and fractions; Campertogno - Alpe Cangello; Rassa – Mezzanaccio, and finally Val Vogna - High route of the Walser in Val Grande.
Refer to the section's website for further information on the Paths of Art and the artistic heritage described.
