Of ancient origin, the cluster of houses gathered around some important monuments is entirely of medieval style.
This is certainly the reason why Guardabosone is declared a “Living Museum Country”; in fact, among the alleys that smell of the past of the lively village, there is a Museum of Natural Sciences, the House of Crafts and the Museum of Ancient Crafts, the Museum of Sacred Art and the surprising church Parish Church of Sant'Agata which preserves several valuable works, as well as the Oratory of the Madonna of Loreto and the one dedicated to the Virgin of Carretto.
Guardabosone is declared a “Living Museum Country”
About the monumental parish church, it is said to have risen on a primitive little church of which some columns and a holy water font dating back to 1582 remain; very interesting is also the beautiful sundial on the north wall of the church, which presents itself as a double clock, completely restored at the end of the 1980s.
