Wonder in every season of the year... but especially in autumn!
Monte Tovo is located on the watershed between the Strona di Postua valley and the main valley of Valsesia. The Sella della Rosetta (1245 m northwest) separates it from Monte Luvot (1603 m).

The trail is not only interesting from a scenic and hiking point of view but also a journey to discover places and constructions from the past.
You start from the Church of Madonna del Rosario in Doccio taking the trail 716 that immediately passes next to the ruins of the cable car from the Fei mine and, shortly after, catches sight of an old hemp mill near the stream.
With a modest flat stretch to the left, you cross the stream on the bridge of Mola, then steeply ascending to the right.
Then you reach the Alpe Cigliasco first and then the Alpe Rosaccia, finally encountering the Vallone del Mulino at the Alpe Pianatea and crossing the stream at the Alpe Samichera.
Afterwards, you face a steep ramp that leads to the Alpe Prà Pian, from where you take the path that climbs up to the church of San Bernardo della Colma (1018 m) behind which you emerge onto the road that you travel for a short stretch before entering the path that rises above the road and follows the ridge line in the woods. You progress past the dirt road to the knoll of Cima Falghè (1240 m) where, turning right, you continue to the top of the Monte Tovo (1386 m)
