Piode - Piedimeggiana, Madonna delle Pose (952 m)
Monte Bo (2072 m)

Even from Bo Valsesiano (2072 m) you have an extensive panorama, especially over the Rassa valleys and the surrounding peaks. The complete route does not present difficulties except for a difference in height of about 1300 m, but it is possible to halve the journey by taking the carriage road from Piode that intersects the trail at over 1400 m altitude.
The starting point in Piedimeggiana (760 m) is the chapel of the Madonna delle Pose where a beautiful mule track begins in a magnificent beech forest.
After passing the fork for Alpe Giumenta, one skirts Alpe Balmello to reach the carriage road at about 1480 m, where it is also possible to arrive by car. The path continues a little further downhill. One skirts the Alpi della Piana and following the route on the grassy ground reaches the Alpe Il Pizzo (1704 m), from which one enjoys a panoramic view of Val Grande. Continuing north, one meets the Laghetto del Pizzo first (1714 m) and the bike path, which is crossed while always remaining on the ridge characterized by the presence of rhododendron bushes. With the last climb, one arrives at the rounded peak of Monte Bo di Valsesia (2072 m) where a statue of the Madonna is located.
