It is indeed a dispersed museum on the culture, life, and industriousness of the territory, extraordinarily rich in historical testimonies closely linked to the places where they reside. This museum complex is distributed across various locations in Valsesia, including those that house Walser communities that left an indelible trace in the territory between the 13th and 14th centuries through paths, terraces, channeling, and settlements in a form of culture linked to man and the territory in symbiosis with the mountain.
They are part of the dispersed ecomuseum structures such as the Walser Museum of Alagna and the stunning Casa Museo Walser Rabernardo in Val Vogna, the Museum and Laboratory of Artificial Marble of Rima, which attracts young craftsmen from all over the world, the museums of Guardabosone, a living museum-village that hosts, among others, the Museum of Ancient Trades and Agricultural Activities, the Saw Mill of Rassa, and the Mulino Fucina of Mollia, a structure used for various artisanal activities dating back to the 1600s.
