Luoghi, attività e idee per vivere la Valsesia.
On foot, on your bike, by car or by bus: discover the destination at your own pace!
What pace do you want to go today?
On foot
The rich hiking network allows you to discover the destination at a slower pace and in close contact with nature. Small villages, hidden churches in the woods, and breathtaking views are accessible only by walking along the trails of our lands.
To move around the area, there are trekking routes that connect various centers and allow you to leave the car for a few days, fully immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the place.
By bike
The Novara and Gattinara hills are perfect to explore on your bike. Cycling towards Valsesia, the bike path allows you to discover all the main centers, while the MTB routes are great for making your experience adrenaline-filled.
By car
Whether by car or motorbike, the roads of Valsesia and the Hills offer memorable views and allow you to reach every corner of the area independently.
The SP299 of Valsesia is the main road that connects Novara to all points of interest up to Alagna Valsesia.
Other roads to consider for getting around the area include the SP142 to Gattinara, Lozzolo, and Roasio, the SP31 and the scenic SP32 (Traversagna) to Boca, Maggiora, and Cavallirio, the SP71 to Guardabosone and Postua, the SP76/77 "Cremosina" to Valduggia and Cellio with Breia, the SP78 to Civiasco, and the SP9 and 10 for Val Mastallone and Val Sermenza, respectively.
By bus
The bus lines Baranzelli (departing from Milan, Turin, and Novara) and ATAP (departing from Vercelli) connect all the main towns of the Novara, Gattinara, and Valsesia Hills.
For Val Sermenza and Val Mastallone, there is a reservation service called Flexibus, details of which are available on the website of the Unione Montana dei Comuni della Valsesia.
