Baita Prato della Croce is an architectural jewel with an ancient charm. Set in a sunny position, among the meadows, close to the Vogna stream, it is a unique place to spend a vacation off the beaten path, in a fascinating and secluded location, immersed in the silence of the mountains. Renovated while preserving the original larch structure, Baita Prato della Croce is surrounded by traditional wooden stables. It has 5 double rooms furnished with simplicity and vintage furniture; the shared bathrooms are equipped with showers. A place of relaxation and a base for trekking and various difficulty trails, from family walks to more challenging alpine routes. It is easily reachable from Riva Valdobbia, along the road of the Vogna Valley up to the Sant'Antonio hamlet. Then proceed along the path for about 2.5 km until you reach the Peccia hamlet.
