The vertical lands

Among the sporting practices of Valsesia, climbing holds a position of absolute importance, also considering the number of enthusiasts who periodically visit the many rocky walls scattered throughout the Valsesian valleys, recognizing them as extraordinary and evocative and capable of satisfying all needs.

Indeed, various sites in the mountainous environment of the area enumerate solutions of various degrees of difficulty, ranging from 4 to 8, thus not excluding any passionate sportsman from this practice and offering many equipped routes with adequate anchor points at all levels.

On the Valsesian ridges, over four hundred routes have been calculated, many of which are so-called 'monotiro' crags, meaning with a single ascent route, and others with multiple pitches differentiated by difficulty. Moreover, the first walls of Fenera and Lower Valsesia are ideal for climbing even in the winter months, allowing this activity to be practiced year-round.
